a) is the task considered autonomous if we define a point/points or area in the images taken, pass them to a program and have it make the photomosaic ?
b) are we allowed to take the pictures in any order?
c) can you briefly explain what isn't considered autonomous in this mission?
d) is there any limits to the number of pictures captured or any modification to them ?

You may take the pictures in any order, but your autonomous program should not use the order of the pictures to form the photomosaic. The program should match colors to create the photomosaic.
Non-autonomous would be taking each photo, opening it up in a program and having a team member at the mission station orient, size, and place the photo next to another one. In the FACEBOOK LIVE videos, what is done there is manual creation of the photomosaic.
You could take multiple photos (no real limit) to use to stitch together.
Good luck.
