Recipe for Agar

I noticed that the agar used in the competition and at the MATE practice day was more "liquidy" and not as hard as the stuff we made according to the recipe in the manual. After asking I was told that the recipe had been changed; therefore, I am curious as to what recipe MATE used.

For the agar made for the Monterey Bay practice day (and regional competition) I used one flat tablespoon of agar per 550 ml of water (one party cup volume).
