Pool and plot

Post by JustDoIt » Fri May 31, 2013 11:58 pm

1)What is the depth and the width of the pool?
2)How the plot should look like?

You can find the depth of the pool listed in the Specifications and Rules document.

Are you a RANGER class team or an EXPLORER class team?
The answer to your question depends on that information.

There is not a set plot that the judges will be looking for. They are not comparing it to a baseline. They will instead be looking for trends - what your transmissometer measures over the 5 minute time period. The judge will be looking for spikes or dips at various time intervals.

You are responsible for displaying the opacity data over 5 minutes and showing the spikes and dips that occur as the medium changes (disk spins).

Good luck.
