Navigator: fish lure weight

Post by julinfeng68 » Sat Mar 16, 2019 12:10 pm

Hi:

For navigator, Is the fish lure heavy enough to stay at the bottom of a basket/container in water or would it float at the top? Do we need to consider live fish might jump out of the container if the container does not have a cover?

Thanks
Ju

Hi Ju:

The fishing lure / trout fry for all classes have a small weight inside them. They are negatively buoyant and will sink to the bottom when dropped.

Although they are weighted, you may want to play around with them to ensure they will not escape your carrying device during transport. You can find a link to them on the NAVIGATOR parts list (and other class parts lists too): https://www.marinetech.org/navigator_2019/

Good luck.
