Explorer : TASK 3: Energy ADV attachment point

Given that the u-bolt is 5 cm across restively have the error margin, what is the zero point on the ADV attachment point?

I assume you are talking about where to take your depth/height measurement? The zero point for that measurement will be the top center of the U-bolt (the center of the curved part of the U-bolt).

You may attach your ADV to any part of the U-bolt.

Hi,
In wich distance range would we be required to place the mooring? Would it be, as an example, 0-0.1 mt, 0-1mt ?

You will be required to place the mooring at the given distance provided by the station judge.

For example, if the judge tells you the placement is 1.78 meters out, you will measure that distance out on the PVC pipe. You will need to place the base of the mooring near that mark - near the mark the team measured to be 1.78 meters. The judge will inform you if your placement is too far from the measured mark.

Hi,

Got it. My question was about the range in which this distance could be. Can it hypothetically exceed 2 meters? Or what about 5 or 10 meters?
